APPLICATION

 

  1. Finished surface in 2-3 days, 2-3 coats (1st/2nd Oil Stain, 2nd/3rd clear Polyx®-Oil)

    Transparent color:
  2. Apply very thinly to the clean and dry wood along the wood grain with Osmo Floor Brush, Microfibre Roller or Scraper.
  3. Most brushstrokes can be removed within 30 minutes after applying.
  4. Rub into the wood evenly with a white pad.
  5. Drying time approx. 12 hours (normal climatic conditions, 72℉/50 % rel. humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity can increase drying time. Allow for good ventilation.
  6. Intensive color:
  7. Apply the first coat as described in points 1-4.
  8. Apply the second coat, also very thinly, as described in point 1.
  9. Rub into the wood evenly with a white pad.
  10. Drying time approximately 12 hours, see point 4.
  11. After step 4 or 8, carry out the final top coat with a clear Osmo Polyx®-Oil and allow to dry.
  12. Note: Oil Stain can also be applied to smaller surfaces with a lint-free cloth.
